GRAPEVINE PARADE OF LIGHTS WINNERS
Thank you to all the participants in the 37th Annual Grapevine Parade of Lights, with the theme – "Famous Christmas Characters." Once again this year, there was an outstanding lineup of entries – from marching bands and imaginative displays depicting classic Christmas characters to cars with water features and holiday dressed pets.
The judges have tabulated the results from the parade and the winners are as follows:
- First Place – Cannon Elementary School Dad’s Club – The Grinch
- Second Place – Silver Lake Dad’s Club – Silver Lake Christmas Vacation
- Third Place – Dove Dad’s Club – Dove Dad’s Christmas Vacation
- Fourth Place – The Reinsvold Family – Carlagio
- Judges’ Merit – Cub Scout Pack 300 – Charlie Brown Christmas
- Best Marching Group – Colleyville Heritage High School Band
- People’s Choice Award – Dove Dad’s Club – Dove Dad’s Christmas Vacation
The People’s Choice Award was based on votes from Twitter, using the hashtag #GVParadeVote followed by the name of the organization or entry, from 7 p.m. to midnight on Thursday.
