Each year, three (3) Leadership Grapevine alumni are chosen for the Leadership Grapevine Board of Directors. These Directors assist in analyzing past class evaluations, as well as to develop the future classes. Terms are 1 year and start each June. Boards meetings are every 4 months. Board Directors typically join in on a variety of classes and attend Graduation each May.
Leadership Grapevine has been going strong for 25 years. Over 400 leaders have graduated from the program with approximately 300 still in the surrounding area and connected to the community and its leadership.
Annually, each March, alumni are asked to join the $100 Club. This is essentially their annual dues. Dues collected go towards service projects the alumni undertake, to educational programs and social gatherings.
Scheduled gatherings can include participation in current classes, updates on City operations, the latest news on economic development, leadership tips from subject matter experts or community service projects. The tentative 2017-2018 schedule includes:

Leadership Grapevine 25-Year Anniversary
Introducing “Flag Plaza”
Celebrating 25 Years of Developing Grapevine’s Leaders
Leadership Grapevine Alumni & Community Leaders – we are asking you to be a part of this 25-year anniversary celebration. Two major projects are being planned – a Flag Plaza and a Concession Trailer Refurbishment. We are working toward raising $25,000 to complete these projects, which will serve as a symbol for the 25-year anniversary of this program and the dynamic leaders who have graduated from Leadership Grapevine.
The Concession Trailer is utilized for every festival. It is a time-honored tradition for Leadership Grapevine students to volunteer every year to develop teamwork while giving back to the community. After 20 years, the trailer needs upgrades to remain a festival standout!
The Plaza will be built in a highly visible location on the Chamber of Commerce grounds in honor of Leadership Grapevine’s 25th anniversary.
The Flag Plaza will be built in a highly visible location on the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce grounds. A project rendering is attached. What a great way to leave a legacy in Grapevine! Several donation levels include a company or family name engraved within the structure. Other benefits include:
- Promotion of your business by leaving a historical legacy
- Recognition as a community contributor and influential business leader
- Generating economic development by continuing to expand your business network by staying engaged
Our Alumni are being asked to join the Alumni Association by contributing a $100 in dues. For this initial year, all dues will go towards these two projects. Thereafter, annual dues will go toward their professional and personal development. Dues will renew each March. Alumni may contribute at any donor level in addition to their dues.
