The Women’s Division of the Grapevine
Chamber was formed in 1965 with the
purpose of fostering the spirit of cultural
and commercial progress among the
women of Grapevine, to encourage
good will and fellowship and to enable
them to cooperate with the Chamber
in the advancement of the civic,
industrial, commercial and
educational interest of the
City of Grapevine.
(Annual dues of $40)
- School Supplies – (new, used / international) Includes the collection and distribution
of school supplies to those families in need through GRACE recipients, giving
children the opportunity to feel great about their first day of school. The second chance school supply project includes collecting “gently used” and new supplies from area schools, sorting and shipping them to needy schools in West Virginia, Mexico and Texas. - Ho Ho Hoedown – All funds raised going to the Christmas Spirit Fund.
- Christmas Spirit – Program includes the collection of gifts donated by Chamber members and the community based on requests from an Ornament Tree to senior citizens and the disabled throughout the community through GRACE. Fund raising includes monies and food drive donations to provide commodities to each senior.
- Great Taste of Grapevine – An event held in April raising funds which allows attendees to enjoy entertainment while sampling food from area restaurants, promoting those businesses.
- Women’s Division Luncheon – A monthly luncheon the third Tuesday of every month at Stacy’s Furniture to provide a program of interest to their membership, along with updates on their civic projects.
