Grapevine Chamber Foundation –
Exciting news from the Foundation … we added a DBA to the Foundation structure and can now do business as “Grapevine United Charities”. Isn’t that a great addition! We still operate the exact same but will be able to represent ourselves and the labors of our many committees as one unified effort! We will now work to incorporate the name addition into our printed and digital presence. We will also work to write more grant requests to major donors. We will keep you posted on our progress.
Leadership Grapevine Alumni –
Our Alumni Association is going strong! We have 267 alumni who we have been in contact with. We are excited to be rekindling these personal and professional relationships. Be sure to LIKE our Facebook Page – https://facebook.com/leadershipgarpevine We have posted many pictures from the past years. Alumni are finding their class photos and tagging friends. Videos are there, too. This has been a lot of fun! You will also find the Alumni Event Schedule posted with easy links to RSVP to activities. Alumni events always include a special little perk for attending so hope to see you soon!
KL Memorial Scholarship Committee –
Mark your calendars for the Party of the Year on Thursday, September 6th from 6 – 9 PM at Sloan and Williams Winery on Main Street. Each September, we celebrate Kathee Livengood’s birthday and raise money for educational scholarships we grant to deserving women. Kathee was an amazing volunteer, community leader and friend to many. Since inception, this scholarship committee has raised 72K benefiting 42 women. These women’s lives have been changed forever so come help us keep the momentum going! Great food, music, wine and fellowship! No admission ticket needed. It’s free!
Veterans Outreach –
Our Veteran Outreach efforts have paid off thanks in part to Lockheed Martin. The Foundation recently received a check for 10K that we can now grant to veteran related businesses in our community. We look forward to continuing to partner with this great company along with many others as we execute our Veterans Summit and Procurement Fair. This amazing event allows attendees to meet with some of the top 20+ largest companies in the nation and sell goods and services to them. The date is February 27th at the Grapevine Convention Center. See you there.
Battered & Beautiful –
This feisty, determined little committee is celebrating its 1-year anniversary and we couldn’t be prouder! Join us as we honor and celebrate the amazing accomplishment of Jenny Foster & Friends. This committee has far surpassed its initial fundraising and item collection goals. Come meet Jenny & Friends at Sloan & Williams Winery on Main Street. This 1st Anniversary Benefit Concert starts at 6 PM with an alternative rock band, food, wine, raffles and more. Come congratulate these folks. They have been working hard! No admission ticket needed. It’s free!

GCISD Back to School Fair
School Supply Drive
The Women’s Division volunteered their time with the Grapevine-Collevyille ISD Back to School Fair, where deserving GCISD students received the supplies they need to get them started for another school year. The Women’s Division also supported the event monetarily by raising $30,000 to go toward school supplies, which translated to more than 1,600 packs of supplies.
KL Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Kathee Livengood Memorial Scholarship was established in 2013 by the Grapevine Chamber Foundation to honor the legacy of Kathee Livengood and her commitment to community service. Kathee was a successful realtor; however, she also found time to support every civic organization and cause in Grapevine throughout her life.
The Grapevine Chamber Foundation supports the mission to carry Kathee’s legacy forward by awarding scholarships to deserving women in Tarrant County, for the purpose of assisting them in developing the skills needed to obtain employment or improve their earning potential.
