Business Development
The Business Development Division includes committees designed by Chamber member businesses to develop contacts, leads, education and support.
- Membership Development (Fourth Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. at Chamber.)
Chamber businesses who work together to contact businesses in the organization providing updates of listings, current information and opportunities, using those contacts to strengthen the Chamber while developing their own networking environment.- New Member Orientation Breakfast
(First Wednesday, alternate months, 8:00 a.m., various locations)
An opportunity for new businesses to receive an overview of the mission and goals of the organization from active members who benefit from their involvement.

Members who promote their business by participating in ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings, volunteering for events and serving as greeters at Chamber functions including; mixers, monthly luncheons and special events as requested. - Senior Services Alliance (Second Wed., 9:00 a.m., at Chamber)
A consortium of Chamber Member businesses that provide products / services for senior adults while they develop a network of service providers for their clients and joint promotion opportunities. - Booking Towards Success (Every other month, second Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. – Cost $20, RSVP Required)
An Executive Book Briefing by Strategic Government Resources in conjunction with the City of Grapevine staff, allowing Chamber businesses to receive a synopsis of a book on leadership, business or other current topics / best sellers that they can apply to their daily business or life. - DFW Connector Business Task Force (Third Wednesday of the month at NorthGate Constructors field office, 440 W. State Highway 114, 9:30 a.m., RSVP at 877-411-4212 or info@dfwconnector.com)
A meeting for local business owners and their general managers. Businesses can meet the NorthGate team, learn about construction taking place near their business, stay ahead of any major pieces of work that are about to start and give feedback.
Civic Development
Promoting the Chamber, community and its businesses through civic involvement, service and education for a better Grapevine.
- Leadership Grapevine (Annual Program August – May)
An educational program presented by the Chamber and City. An innovative leadership development program for citizens and community leaders to learn about municipal government, economic development, cultural opportunities as well as health and safety. Class meets once a month, 9 am – 5 pm. Cost is $400 per person with attendance requirements. Applications available at the Chamber. - Leadership Alumni (Quarterly meetings as needed)
A program offered to community leaders who have completed their Leadership Grapevine program and wish to continue to develop their leadership skills through planning, supporting and directing the Leadership program. - Christmas Season Activities (Activities in Dec., Parade-1st Thursday)
The Grapevine Chamber hosts the Annual Christmas Parade and other events with the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD supporting the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau “Christmas Capital of Texas” campaign.

The Women’s Division of the Grapevine Chamber was formed in 1965 with the purpose of fostering the spirit of cultural and commercial progress among the women of Grapevine, to encourage good will and fellowship and to enable them to cooperate with the Chamber in the advancement of the civic, industrial, commercial and educational interest of the City of Grapevine. (Annual dues of $40)
- Senior Fest – Free dinner and dance benefiting area Senior Citizens. A patriotic program follows dinner including honoring a Veteran of the Year.
- School Supplies – (new, used / international) Includes the collection and distribution of school supplies to those families in need through GRACE recipients, giving children the opportunity to feel great about their first day of school. The second chance school supply project includes collecting “gently used” and new supplies from area schools, sorting and shipping them to needy schools in West Virginia, Mexico and Texas.
- Ho Ho Hoedown – Dec. 15, 2011. 6 p.m. Cost is $45. This event will be at Willhoite's Restaurant in Grapevine, and there will be food and dancing, with all funds raised going to the Christmas Spirit Fund.
- Christmas Spirit – Program includes the collection of gifts donated by Chamber members and the community based on requests from an Ornament Tree to senior citizens and the disabled throughout the community through GRACE. Fund raising includes monies and food drive donations to provide commodities to each senior.
- Great Taste of Grapevine – An event held in April raising funds which allows attendees to enjoy entertainment while sampling food from area restaurants, promoting those businesses.
- Women’s Division Luncheon – A monthly luncheon the third Tuesday of every month at Stacy’s Furniture to provide a program of interest to their membership, along with updates on their civic projects.
